2009 is the 38th year of recording the Oshkosh EAA forums and collecting this unique form of aviation history. Without this effort thousands of technical sessions would have been lost to time, along with the voices and insights of many aviation innovators and pioneers.
Audio recordings of these forums are available from this site for your education, enjoyment, or historical collection.
Yearly forums lists for 1997 and later are available on this site by clicking the desired year at the left. For an index of forums presented during the years 1972 – 1996, click "Prior Years" at the left.
You can probably find the forums in which you are interested fairly easily. First, click on the year of interest in the nav column to the left. That will open the Forum List for that year.
You can use the search function of the browser to find forums or speakers containing the search word you enter. To use this, on your browser go to Edit > Find in this Page... That will take you to a forum containing the search word, which will be highlighted.
If you are seeking a forum which you know was presented at a specific time and place, this information will help you:
Beginning in 2005, forum numbers are three or four digits long and specify the location, day, and session (or time period) of the forum, respectively.
Example: Forum number 1236 is the number for a forum presented in building ("tent") number 12, on the third day of the convention, and was presented during the sixth of eight possible sessions for that day.
